Russian Foreign Minister Federation Sergey Lavrov answered a question about the possibility of entry of Russian troops into Afghanistan.
“I think the answer is obvious,” “mdash; said during a speech at Far Eastern University.
Lavrov added that the Collective Security Treaty Organization would immediately consider providing assistance to Tajikistan in the event of an attack by militants from Afghanistan. The Minister also said that the United States had de facto admitted the failure of its mission when it decided to withdraw troops from Afghanistan.
He noted that America is reducing its military presence in the country and Kabul, which is unwilling to form a transitional government with a radical Taliban; (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) had the conflict in Afghanistan resolved by force.
Recall that the US military must leave Afghanistan by 9/11.
