He was the head of the Republican branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Khalid Nakayev. This report was published on the Instagram of the Chechen Electoral Commission. Khalid Nakayev is a member of the Chechen Parliament, nominated by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. Nakaev is 51 years old, a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Grozny Petroleum Institute named after V.I. Academician M.D. Millionshchikova.

In the years 1994–2012. Nakayev worked in various positions in the administration of the Achkhoi-Martanovsky district, headed the department of investment construction, civil defense architecture and emergency situations, and was the deputy head of administration.

From January 2012 to September 2016. Nakayev was the first deputy head of the Sunzhensky administration of the Chechen region. On September 18, 2016, he was elected a Member of the Parliament of the Republic and in 2017 he took up the position of First Secretary of the Chechen Branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

Previously, the first registered candidate for the post of head of the Chechen Republic was its current leader Ramzan Kadyrov. It comes from the United Russia.
