“Nord Stream 2” can start working in a few months. This is a forecast from President Joe Biden's administration in the quarterly pipeline report. According to Bloomberg, the document was submitted to Congress in anticipation of new sanctions.
On Tuesday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Washington was preparing to impose a new package of restrictive measures against Russia's Nord Project Stream 2. Sanctions would affect one Russian company and two vessels.
Under these restrictions, the Marlin owned by Transadria Ltd will be designated as a blocked property.
On the other hand, the United States has decided not to impose sanctions on a German vessel associated with the construction of an oil pipeline.
