Alexander Lukashenko si he thinks the Belarusian army could help migrants get to Poland. Just out of compassion. The Belarusian president said this in an interview with the BBC. He also stressed that he would not deal with this situation.

Lukashenko added that the migration crisis at the European borders was not organized by the Belarusian authorities. And that is not the pressure on the European Union. He still believes that after the imposition of sanctions, the EU cut off Belarus' ability to withstand the flow of migration. “They are not going to my state, but to your countries,” the Belarusian leader added. And he complained that he did not invite migrants to Minsk and did not really want them to travel through his country.

The Polish Ministry of Defense detained about 100 migrants who tried to cross the border illegally. At the same time, Poles are sure that Belarusian security forces have provided assistance to illegal immigrants.

There are several thousand people on Belarus' borders with Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. These are third-country nationals who are trying to enter the European Union in this way. At the beginning of the week, the migrants tried to break the fence and covered the Polish border guards with stones. In response, they were shed with water and tears.
