United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had a telephone conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi, according to the US State Department's press service.
The head of the US State Department condemned the terrorist attack on the residence of the head of the Iraqi government. He also expressed relief that al-Kazemi had not been injured in the incident.
Blinken also called the incident an attack on Iraq's sovereignty and stability.
