Libyan Spokesperson the presidential council announced that a decision had been made on November 6 to remove local foreign minister Najli Mangush from office.
Mangush is said to have been removed from the post of foreign minister for administrative violations. She was also banned from leaving Libya.
However, the UN-backed Libyan National Agreement government has denied the Presidential Council's decision, saying Mangush continues to perform his duties.
