President of France Emmanuel Macron said Paris was interested in building more credible relations between the EU and Russia. This is stated in a communiqué of the Elysee Palace, published after negotiations between the French leader and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
During the talks, the partners agreed on the need to “continue the structured dialogue on strategic stability on the European continent. Macron also said that France considered the “Normand format” important for efforts to resolve the Donbas.
