Energy crisis in Europe has not influenced Denmark's position on the Nord Stream project. Copenhagen is still opposed to the launch of the pipeline. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said this during the UN climate conference in Glasgow.
At the same time, the head of the Danish government emphasized that the country's position on this
issue had never changed. . And the fact that they once agreed to the construction is just a “technical dot”. And the situation on the energy markets in Europe will not change anything.
It should be noted that in the spring of this year, Denmark gave its consent to the laying of pipelines in its territorial waters. In the summer, Copenhagen withdrew its approval for Nord Stream 2. And in early October, according to Bloomberg, the Danish energy agency confirmed that the second branch of the pipeline could be put into operation.
