Event organizers call on supporters of former President of Georgia they go on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi. The main demand of the protesters is the release of Mikhail Saakashvili and an end to his persecution.
They will also demand that the authorities fight fraud during the second round of local elections scheduled for 30 October.
As the rally organizers report, more than a thousand people have already registered on the People's Movement website. However, some opposition parties refused to attend the rally under various pretexts.
Recall that Mikhail Saakashvili was arrested in Georgia on October 1. After being imprisoned in the town of Rustavi, he went on a hunger strike, but on October 8, a politician began eating honey and drinking juice.
