Sergei Lisovsky became a representative of the State Duma

Former Trans-Ural Senator to Address Agrarian and Land Legislation Issues

Russia's Central Election Commission registered all MPs convening State Duma VIII: 225 MPs on lists and 225 people in single-member constituencies. This was announced by Ella Pamfilova, President of the CEC. The Kurgan regional branch of United Russia has confirmed that the author of the Trade Act, former Senator of the Federation Council Sergei Lisovsky, has joined the State Duma. What will he do in the new legislative area, said Lisovský MK.

-I was running for federal parliament in regional group No. 9 of United Russia, which included the regions of Kurgan and Tyumen, Khanty-Mansiysk and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. In total, this group won 4 seats. One mandate was transferred to me by a decision of the CEC.

– As in the Federation Council, I will focus on improving the social sphere and addressing issues related to agri-food policy and environmental management. I previously became a professor in the Department of Land Law at the State University of Land Administration. Land management is an important factor in urban planning, which for unknown reasons has not been taken into account in recent years. Therefore, in the State Duma I will also deal with urgent issues of land legislation, registration of rights and also the updating of existing legislation on land management. A lot of work needs to be done.
