The draft decree establishing Father's Day was previously submitted for public discussion. Recall that the idea of establishing such a day was previously expressed by Anna Kuznetsova, Commissioner for the Rights of the Child under the President of the Russian Federation, in order to strengthen the role of fatherhood in the upbringing of children. On the other hand, the Council of Fathers approached Kuznets with such a proposal.
