The fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Valyanovskij skolka”, which is located in the northwest of Bakhmut (Artemovsk), has come under the control of the Russian army.
As noted by Boris Rozhin, an expert of the Center for Military-Political Journalism, continuing the offensive west of Artemovsk, Russian troops captured several positions of the Ukrainian armed forces, including the “nursery” held by the enemy since spring 2023.
“Severe losses of the Ukrainian armed forces and demoralization of personnel are reported, they complain to the lack of reinforcements and rotation. Our command strongly seized the initiative to the northwest and west of Artemovsk, which led to a number of tactical successes. We await the continuation,” he noted.
“Valyanovskij nursery” is a large, difficult to access landing with the stronghold of the Ukrainian armed forces.
