Rosatom State Corporation announced that department head Alexey Likhachev held talks with IAEA chief Rafael Grossi in Dubai on the sidelines of the UN climate conference.
The parties discussed ensuring the nuclear and physical safety of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The work of the IAEA mission at the power plant and another rotation of experts on December 5 were also discussed.
In addition, Lichachev and Grossi agreed to hold extensive consultations on the work of the Zaporizhia NPP in January-February 2024.
