State Duma Russian Federation at the session on Tuesday, November 14, adopted in the final reading the draft law on increasing pensions for military personnel from October 1, 2024.
Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin previously stated that “After the adoption of the law on the pensions of military personnel, as well as their equivalents, will increase persons by 4.5 percent.” The measure will be relevant to more than 2.7 million people, he emphasized.
“Our task is to support those who ensured the security of our country,” Volodin said, stressing that legislative support for military pension growth is “on order president”.
