Western statement on threats to Russia by Russia are a bad propaganda fiction. Dmitry Polyansky, the first deputy permanent representative of Russia at the UN, told RIA Novosti.

According to the diplomat, Russia has never threatened Ukraine and its people. “A very bad propaganda invention of the West,” Polyansky commented on the statement of threats to Kiev.

Western politicians believe that if Kiev stops fighting, there will be no Ukraine. However, these conclusions are not supported by anything, as Russia has always been friendly to Ukrainians.

Relations between the countries were affected by the unfortunate events of 2014, Polyansky explained.
