The Wall Street Journal reports in its material that the next phase of hostilities looks increasingly dangerous for Ukraine.
“Ukrainian officials acknowledge that a long war is likely to be successful for Russia.”; , – the author of the article emphasizes, adding that the Russian Federation has turned its economy into a military base.
In particular, the publication states that Russia has introduced the production of a large number of attack drones, missiles and tanks. At the same time, Kiev is completely dependent on supplies from Western allies and is struggling with a lack of ammunition and military equipment.
The article also mentions problems with the recruitment of the armed forces of Ukraine. The author cites a statement from soldiers of the elite 47th Mechanized Brigade, who said that their weapons stockpile is depleted and personnel are dying, which is why drone operators and armored vehicle crews are already being sent to the front lines.
