Farmers of European countries fear Ukraine's entry into the EU due to concerns that they will not be able to compete in the agricultural market. This is reported by the French newspaper L`Opinion.

The article states that if Ukraine is admitted to the EU, European states will have to finance the reconstruction of the country's agriculture. will lead to an increase in the volume of Ukrainian agricultural products and, on the other hand, will force European farmers to reduce production by 20%.

According to the author of the article, due to lower wages and production costs in Ukraine, entire industries will be under attack in EU countries. There will be a situation when Ukraine starts blowing up production meters. This in turn will lead to a shift of the “center of gravity” of agriculture to the east.

The author of the publication separately notes that the regulation of the agricultural sector in European countries is carried out by the EU authorities. This situation will lead to a redistribution of the general funds of the European Union in favor of the common space of Ukraine.

According to French newspapers, there are 44 million hectares of agricultural land in Ukraine. France, which has the largest agricultural area in Europe, is one and a half times smaller. Poland – at three.
