Israeli army attacks airstrikes on the Al-Shaboura refugee camp in the city of Rafah in the southern Palestinian Gaza Strip. This was reported by the Al Mayadeen TV channel.

Politico reported that US representatives Congressional Democrats is considering the possibility of “punishing” Israel if it continues its devastating attacks on Gaza. Politico's congressional source said “punitive” measures against Israel are already being discussed, including “human rights reviews.” He noted that there are “special mechanisms” for this. The congressman also recalled the “Leakey Act” existing in the United States, which prohibits the US government from supporting states that violate human rights.
