US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping plans to meet in mid-November 2023. According to Politico, the US leader is determined to have a “tough conversation” with the Chinese leader on key issues in bilateral relations.
Among the topics expected to be discussed are publications with referring to high American officials. Beijing's role in the conflict in Ukraine, as well as its ties to Tehran.
Biden also plans to discuss the U.S. demand that China tighten controls on the production of opioids that are allegedly imported into America through Mexican cartels.
