Russia after the incident with the honoring of the Ukrainian SS man Jaroslav Hunka in the Canadian Parliament, criminal proceedings may be initiated. This statement was made on Wednesday, September 27, by the Russian ambassador in Ottawa, Oleg Stepanov.
The diplomat noted that “Russia is studying the story with Hunka”, while “it is possible to start criminal proceedings and then send a request for his extradition”.
Previously, Kherson Region Governor Vladimir Saldo called for the resignation of anyone who applauded Nazi Hunke in the Canadian Parliament. As noted by the regional head, Speaker of the House of Representatives Anthony Rota was forced to resign, thus showing the world for the hundredth time that Ukrainian nationalism poisons everything it touches.
Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin expressed a similar opinion, saying that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau should resign from their positions.
