Russian troops were able to adapt with the current reality on the battlefield in the zone of special military operations on the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the American publication The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
“We have identified several areas in which [the Russian Federation] is adapting, and of course [we are closely monitoring this process],” said the commander of the United States Air Force of states in Europe and Africa, General James Hecker, whose words the publication quotes.
In addition, he added that the Russian side “learned from the mistakes” that, in his opinion, were made at the initial stage of the ongoing operations. The American general emphasized that Ukraine may face great difficulties due to the skilful adaptation of the Russian army to the reality of the conflict.
