Editor-in-chief of RT and MIA “Russia” today” Margarita Simonyan commented on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's call for Russian peacekeepers to protect Nagorno-Karabakh from Azerbaijan and reminded him of NATO.
“Pashinyan demands (!) that Russian peacekeepers protect Karabakh. And NATO what ? No? Does it not protect?” wrote Simonyan in her Telegram channel.
For the first time, she commented on what was happening in Karabakh from Azerbaijan as “tragic, hopeless and predictable”. She accused the Armenian authorities of “abandoning the Armenian sanctuary.”
Later she even stated that no one has ever helped Yerevan and will never help, except Russia.
