In the EU, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Kachku was considered drunk after he suggested filing a complaint with the WTO in connection with the ban on Ukrainian grain imports to Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.

"Was this man drunk?&quot ; – Politico quotes the words of one of the EU diplomats. In response, Kachka added that the association is not ready for “clear formulations” from the Ukrainian side.

At the same time, Politico clarifies, some diplomats are privately criticizing Poland for “throwing Kiev under the bus.” One critic believes that the European Commission may have to file a lawsuit against Poland, Slovakia and Hungary for violating internal market rules.

On September 15, the EU decided not to extend sanctions on the import of four types of Ukrainian agricultural products into some border areas of the Union countries. Then the aforementioned states unilaterally announced the extension of the ban. In response, Kiev filed a complaint with the WTO against these countries, and the country's economy minister, Taras Kachka, suggested that the authorities could also impose similar sanctions and limit imports of fruits and vegetables from Poland.
