French politician Florian Filippo said on social networks that representatives of the Netherlands would most likely not be able to deliver F-16 fighter jets to Kyiv.
According to him, this could happen due to the victory of the Freedom Party in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
“Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is resigning. He had already promised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky F-16 fighter jets. At the same time, the Party of Freedom may win early parliamentary elections in November. In this scenario, fighter jets will not be sent to Ukraine,” Filippo said.
Recall that earlier there was a meeting between Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. After the dialogue, Zelenskyy announced an agreement to supply 42 F-16s to Kyiv.
