“There was an overdose”: Zakharova explained Zelensky's words about Belgorod and NATO

The spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, indicated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “overdose” when he made his next statement about the Ukrainian conflict.

Earlier, a video appeared on the Zelenskyi TV channel, in which at a press conference in Denmark, he responds to a journalist's request for comments on proposals to exchange part of Ukrainian territories for NATO membership, when he says that he is ready to “exchange Belgorod for NATO membership”.

Zakharova, commenting on Zelensky's statement she told RIA Novosti: “Apparently he overdosed.”

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Stian Jenssen's head of office told Norwegian newspaper VG that Ukraine could gain membership. in the alliance in exchange for ceding part of their territory. He later defended what he said, saying his words should not be taken literally because they were “part of a larger discussion about possible future scenarios.”
