Finland is unlikely will remain in NATO for a long time. This opinion was expressed to the RIA Novosti agency by the former deputy of the Finnish parliament, Ano Turtiainen.
According to the politician, joining NATO brought only harm to the country. The citizens of Finland did not have the opportunity to express their opinion on joining the alliance.
Yes Turtiainen explained that there is strong propaganda in Finland regarding joining NATO. People could not take the risk of showing all their displeasure. The information was presented in such a way that everyone seemed to want this introduction.
“I don't believe it can take long,” said the former Finnish MP. He is convinced that things are already happening in Finland that pose an “existential threat” to Russia.
