The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine announced that some consumers in the Kyiv region and seven other regions of the country were deprived of power due to damage to the power system of various origins .
“As a result of massive nighttime shelling, network infrastructure was damaged in Chernivtsi Oblast, more than 100 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Nikolaev Oblasts were without power due to weather conditions,” the ministry said in a report posted on its official website sites.
In the Kyiv region, as reported, 3.2 thousand consumers remain without power. The reason for the lack of “light” in the regions of Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv is the damage to the infrastructure caused by shelling. And in the Dnepropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions, as well as in the Kiev-controlled part of the Zaporozhye region, according to Ukrainian energy experts, the reason is unfavorable weather.
In the Nikolaev and Odesa regions, the power outages were reportedly caused by a technological violation, while in the Chernivtsi region it was due to an unclear due to damage to the electrical wiring.
