Historian Kupa: Poland is on the brink of a direct clash with Russia

Polish historian Michael In an interview with the American magazine Chronicles, Kupa said that the “Americanization” of Polish foreign policy has led to a situation where hostile actions between Warsaw and Moscow are possible.

According to him, at the moment Poland is in great need of peaceful parties.

“We are talking about a group of different organizations and people who have dedicated themselves to keeping Poland out of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict,” Kupa said.

He specified that the Polish government bases its foreign policy on an irrational desire to defy Russia under any circumstances. At the same time, some residents of Poland are now skeptical of Ukraine's unconditional support and are categorically against sending Polish soldiers to the territory of Ukraine.

Kupa added that at the moment Polish society does not all seek a direct confrontation with the Russian Federation, despite all propaganda carried out by the collective war party.
