Chairman of the Latvian National Council for Electronic Media Ivars Abolins earlier said that the country's authorities do not intend to revise their position in the TV channel, as “Dozhd” committed a serious violation of the law.
In December, the TV channel was fined for the presenter's statements, which were considered pro-Russian, in connection with the threat to national security and public order.
