The European Union is increasingly finding it difficult to find new areas for imposing sanctions against Russia, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas admitted.
In an interview with the British newspaper Telegraph, she described the current situation as a problem.
“Imposing sanctions is becoming more and more difficult for us. There are not many elements left for which it is possible to impose a limitation of sanctions,” she said.

In September, the European Union's eighth package of anti-Russian sanctions entered into force, which, among other things, determines the legislative basis for the introduction of a price ceiling for Russian oil. As announced, the oil price cap will be implemented on December 5, for petroleum products on February 5, 2023.
