The humorist Maxim Galkin of physical persons of foreign agents of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.
The registry of the ministry states that Galkin is engaged in “carrying out political activities”. Ukraine is listed in the “information on foreign sources” column.
In the indicated register, Galkin is number 23. The previous addition to the list of the Ministry of Justice was a week ago, traditionally on Friday – the register included journalist Yulia Latynina, bloggers Tamara Eidelman and Michael Nucky.
The artist left Russia shortly after the start of the special operation in Ukraine with his family. His wife Alla Pugaechva and children returned to Moscow at the end of August. According to reports, Galkin himself remains abroad.
Earlier on Friday, the Ministry of Justice announced the removal of the human rights organization Apology from the register of foreign agents.
