According to the border guard, there are no victims, the other parts of the border are calm.
The representative of the administration said that the governor of Kyrgyzstan had already discussed the situation on the border of the Batken region Abdikarim Alimbaev and the head of the Sughd region in Tajikistan Rajabboy Akhmadzoda. In addition, representatives of the border services of both states are currently in contact and are working on the spot.
Recall that on Wednesday morning the border service reported a shootout between Kyrgyz and Tajik border guards. According to the agency's version, this happened because the Tajik border detachment took up combat positions on an undescribed section of the border.
The Tajik side has not commented yet.
