Two Red Cross officers killed in Mali during an attack by unknown assailants two others were injured. The incident took place on June 1 in the relatively safe province of Kayes. The militants allegedly fired on a humanitarian movement vehicle, pulled the wounded workers out and fled in a vehicle loaded with medical equipment. No one has yet taken responsibility for the attack.
