United Russia won the governorate and parliamentary elections in the Penza region

Acting Governor of Penza Oleg Melnichenko, who is running for election as head of the region from “United Russia”, won 72.38% of the vote. This became known after summing up 100% of the protocols of the district election commissions. 428.8 thousand people voted for Melnichenko.

In second place in popularity was the representative of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Oleg Shalyapin – 12.35% of voters voted for him. The third – Alexey Shpagin (“Just Russia – patriots – for the truth”) with 5.69%, the fourth – the representative of the Liberal Democratic Party Alexander Vasiliev with 5.67% of the vote. Turnout was 57% of voters.

United Russia also won the State Duma elections in the Penza region. 56.22% of voters voted for it. In second place is the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (17.24%), in third place is the LDPR (7.50%), in fourth place is “Just Russia – for the truth” (6.09%), in third place is the party ” New People ”(4, 89%).
