Washington has in intention to “give an answer” to the upcoming anniversary of the start of the Russian special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, said White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
According to her, the preparation and planning of the “response” has already begun and “is in full swing current”.
She also noted that currently US President Joe Biden is not planning a visit to Europe in connection with the anniversary of the launch of the special operation. The special operation in Ukraine began on February 24.
Previously, Biden said that the United States intends to achieve a “strategic failure” of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. Russia's ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, said the United States is trying to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia and is waging a “proxy war” against Moscow in Ukraine by supplying arms to Kiev.
