President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev canceled state of emergency in the Akmola and Kostanay areas. It will cease to function on January 15, 2022.
So the state of emergency will be lifted in the capital Nur-Sultan, informs Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Previously, Tokaev began to lift the state of emergency in the regions. In the first place, the state of emergency in Western Kazakhstan and Pavlodar in Kazakhstan was prematurely lifted. The situation there was relatively stable.
Previously, Tokajev announced the withdrawal of CSTO forces from Kazakhstan on January 13. According to the President of Kazakhstan, CSTO collective peacekeeping troops will withdraw from the republic on January 13.
