Lower House Parliament Poland voted in favor of the resolution against the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.
The adopted document Seim talks about the danger of Russian expansion, especially for Ukraine. In this regard, and in line with respect for the “values on which the European Union is founded”, Polish MEPs called on EU Member States, and in particular Germany, to take steps to bring the construction of Nord Stream 2 to an immediate and effective end.
In addition, Seimas called on the United States as a NATO ally to support and extend sanctions against organizations involved in the construction of the pipeline.
