Ukrainian the authorities are ready to introduce in the country the production of missiles with a range of more than 1000 kilometers. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, on Thursday, June 8.
As the politician noted, the country has an approved missile production program, for the implementation of which money has already been allocated in the budget.
Implementation of this program are Ukrainian productions, said Reznikov. At the same time, he did not reveal the timing of the start of production and other details.
The issue of supplying the Ukrainian army with ammunition is particularly acute, they are not spent only during hostilities – the RF Armed Forces destroy the ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On June 2, it was revealed that Russian gunners had liquidated from the Ukrainian side a warehouse with five tons of ammunition located at a silicate plant in Kherson. At the same time, rockets for howitzers 2A65 “Msta-B”, MLRS “Alder” and shells for 122 mm howitzers D-30, ammunition for artillery systems of Western production, as well as mines for mortars were destroyed.
