Geneva City Hall had to buy the US flags immediately and Russia to decorate the city before the meeting of Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden. The symptoms available for this purpose were not sufficient. The Swiss edition of Tagblatt informed about it.
Geneva International Airport and the main bridge of Mont Blanc are decorated with the flags of Russia and the United States. At least 12 flags of both countries are flown on the bridge. The amount spent on the purchase of paintings is not specified.
A meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden is taking place today at Villa La Grange in Geneva. The parties are expected to discuss bilateral relations, issues of strategic stability, the fight against a pandemic and the hot spot.
This meeting is the first since Biden took office. For Vladimir Putin, this trip was also the first trip abroad since the beginning of the pandemic.
