The drones that attacked Moscow most likely came from the territory of Ukraine, said Major General of Aviation, Hero of Russia Sergey Lipovoy in an interview with NEWS.ru . From his point of view, such drones could not be assembled in the Russian Federation: the maximum that is possible is home-made drones from a child constructor.

UAVs launched from Ukraine have a range of 1000 km and went at a low altitude, partner publication shared the details.

At extremely low altitude, with terrain envelope, it is more difficult to detect them, so they reached Russian territory, the general informed.

Arriving drones are no more dangerous than regular artillery ammunition, but if it hits a weakly fortified object, it will cause significant damage, the specialist explained.

According to him, they are manufactured according to the aerodynamic “duck” design, and such drones are manufactured in the West, not in Ukraine.< /p >

The “Duck” scheme – yes, this is a modern UAV assembled in the West, not in Ukraine. The West is actively supplying UAVs, for them it is a run-in like a training ground. They differ in size, engines – jet, piston, load,” said Lipovoy.

The Hero of Russia expressed his belief that in this way aircraft are being tested and the Western military-political NATO bloc through Ukraine is testing new weapons. For the operation of Russian air defense systems, the destruction of these drones is also an experience that will certainly come in handy, the expert concluded.
