The Russian army used the latest heavy flamethrower system TOS-2 “Tosochka” during a special operation in Ukraine, says TASS, referring to a source from the armed forces. The agency noted that it did not have official confirmation of this information.
“TOS-2 systems were used in the direction of Kharkov,” the source quoted from the publication. According to him, during the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian armed forces are testing many military innovations.
It was previously announced that the Russian Ministry of Defense plans to deploy heavy rocket systems TOS-1A “Solntsepek” and TOS-2 “Tosochka” in the south Military District covering the Caucasus, Crimea and the Russian border with Ukraine. Many experts considered this a reaction to the preparation of the Ukrainian armed forces for possible military operations against the Russian Federation.
