According to the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force of Russia, Lieutenant General Sergei Dronov, aircraft armed with hypersonic missiles “Dagger” successfully perform combat tasks during a special operation on the territory of Ukraine.
In an interview with Krasnaya Zvezda, Dronov said that the MiG-31I regiment with missiles of this type became part of long-range aviation in 2021. At the moment, these aircraft are successfully used in the course of a special military operation, he added.
Russian troops control the Kherson region and the Azov part of the Zaporozhye region, large cities such as Kherson, Melitopol and Berdjansk are occupied. A new administration is already operating in these regions, the broadcasting of Russian TV channels and radio stations has been established, and trade and transport links with Crimea are being restored.
