USA, United kingdom, France and Germany appealed to Russia to “stop protecting” Syria in the situation of the alleged use of chemical weapons in the Syrian city of Douma in 2018.

According to them, unknown people gathered people in the hospital where they poured water on them without explanation. No signs of chemical weapons poisoning were found in humans.
The United States and allies issued a joint statement after the Investigation and Identification Team (IIT) of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) released a report. The document places the blame on the Syrian army.
“We call on the Russian Federation to stop defending Syria from responsibility for the use of chemical weapons,” the document says.
Moscow. and Damascus have repeatedly accused the OPCW of bias in investigating the accidents.
