Russian President Vladimir During a meeting with the head of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov on Tuesday, Putin said that the whole country is concerned about the death of military personnel in Makeevka on January 1 this year.
It should be noted that in his report the head of the region separately mentioned the tragedy and he emphasized that it was “a heavy blow and a test for the entire region”. The Russian leader responded that “the whole country is concerned” about the tragedy.
Azarov also reported on the actions taken after the incident and expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Defense for helping to deliver the wounded to their native region and to specialized hospitals in Moscow and St. Petersburg, pointing out that the health of Russian fighters is being restored by the best doctors.
The Russian Ministry of Defense previously reported that 89 Russian soldiers were killed as a result of Overnight.
