Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi over the fire in the church in El Giza. Putin's telegram was published on the Kremlin's website.
“Dear Mr. President, dear friend, I would like to express my sincere condolences for the tragic consequences of the fire that occurred in the Abu Sefein Church in El Giza. ,” the telegram reads.
Remember that 41 people died in the fire, another 14 were injured. The tragedy occurred in a densely populated area near the Egyptian capital Cairo.
