A law signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, previously passed by the State Duma and the Federation Council, has appeared on the official legal information portal, except for the age limit for Russians and foreigners at which they can enter into their first military service agreement.

Based on the contract, it will be possible to attract specialists for the required expertise for military service. In addition, specialists in medical support, engineering, communications, etc. can join the soldiers.
Now the first contracts with Russians and foreigners will be concluded when they reach the age of 50. Previously, the upper limit was 40 years for Russians and 30 years for foreigners.
