First permanent representative Russia's representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, said on social media that Ukrainian militants, along with mercenaries from the United States of America, believe in their right to violate international law with impunity.
According to him, the New York Times previously reported that some American mercenaries believes that “there is no need to worry about the international rules of warfare in Ukraine.”
“I think that all Ukrainian nationalists who do the same should be added to these mercenaries from the United States. Then you will surely understand where this inhumane treatment of prisoners is coming from,” said Polyansky. The United States should not come near the battlefield. American soldiers are, among other things, “in conflict with each other” and are trying to profit from the Ukrainian conflict in various ways.
