Political scientist Stanislav Belkovskij during the broadcast of “Belkovsky Vremya” he suggested that the director of the Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky succeed the current Russian President Vladimir Putin. Belkovsky emphasized that a similar situation had occurred in Estonia, where the head of the National Museum had become president.

“In general, the figure of Mikhail Borisovich Piotrovsky – titanic, acceptable to the most diverse segments of Russia's population – in this position looks just as advantageous and convincing,” Belkovsky emphasized.

Let us recall that Belkovský expressed a similar view at the beginning of September. He believes that Piotrovsky's character could humanize political discourse and national identity. “In addition, Mikhail Borisovich Piotrovsky is two years younger than Joseph Biden and, of course, he is in great condition – both physical and intellectual,” Belkovsky emphasized.

It should be noted that Belkovsky has become more and more often express extravagant perspectives, apparently trying to exaggerate different perspectives on events in the country.
