Organized by Ukraine, the Crimean Platform Forum is a “political performance”. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Alexander Grushko.
“(We consider it) a political performance that will not affect the international legal reality created by the free expression of the Crimean will,” said Grushko, quoted by the newspaper “Kommersant”.
In his opinion, the participation of a number senior officials of EU countries and EU structures in this forum will negatively affect the dialogue between Moscow and Brussels.
“And those who gather in it participate, they understand it very well,” he said.
We add that Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov previously described the “Crimean platform” as a Sabbath.
