Montenegro reveals names of Russians with “golden passports”

The Montenegrin government has published a list of recipients ” gold passports ’. Citizenship of this country can be obtained by investing in the economy. There are 166 names on the list, including Russians.

The list includes in particular Oleg Safronov, the full namesake of the former head of Rostourism. In a statement, he stated the birthplace of the city of Tselinograd (now Nursultan) – a former head of the department was also born there. In addition, the list includes the name of Vladimír Pravdivy – the same is the name of CEO Avita. The city of birth – the village of Arzgir in Stavropol, also coincides.

Another recipient of the “golden passport” was the namesake of the member of the board of TMK metallurgical company Alexander Shiryaev, the namesake of the former head of the bank “Lada-Credit” Sergei Balagansky and the namesake partner Abramovich Andrei Gorodilov.

In order to obtain Montenegrin citizenship, foreigners must buy property worth 250,000 euros in the north of the country or 450,000 in the south. In addition, you must make a donation to charity in the amount of 100 thousand euros.
